SBI Net Banking Service: Here’s how to register online
SBI provides online net banking services to account holders. The service allows customers to use Internet banking services.
The State Bank of India (SBI) offers several services through e-banking including opening a digital savings account and requesting a check book. It also allows users to pay utility bills online, open fixed deposits, conduct online transactions, check account statements and purchase insurance.
Who Can Benefit From SBI Net Banking Service
The net banking service is accessible to all SBI account holders. Users should keep their bank card handy and details including account number, CIF number, branch code and registered mobile number.
This is how you should register for SBI net banking online

Account holders should visit the SBI online portal

Users must select “New User Registration/Activation” in the “Personal Banking” section.

A new window will appear for account holders to fill out a form with details including account number, CIF, branch code, country and registered mobile number.

Choose transaction rights.

Submit the form and enter the received OTP on the registered mobile number.

Users will be redirected to a debit card validation page.

Those with an ATM card can complete the registration process by entering card details. Those who do not have a bank card will need to contact the bank to activate Internet banking.

Upon submission, a new page will display users’ temporary username and prompt them to create a login password. Here is the registration is complete.

Users can visit the SBI portal and log in using a temporary username and password.

Once logged in, users can customize their username and password.
Pre-printed kit alert
However, if account holders have received a pre-printed e-banking kit from the bank, they can use the same SBI e-banking username and password. The site informs about this before the user tries to register.
