Award-winning commercial vehicle specialist Asset Alliance Group has appointed Jim Agnew to the new role of National Key Account Director as part of the company’s plans to secure larger fleet customers.

Agnew joins Ryder after 19 years, where he held key rental and sales positions. He also worked for National Car Rental.

The 53-year-old will oversee the large accounts of the Asset Alliance group, with a mission to attract more blue-chip customers operating larger fleets nationwide.

Agnew says:

“As part of the Asset Alliance Group’s ambitious growth plans, I will use my industry experience and contacts to help secure and meet the needs of more national multi-site clients.

The Asset Alliance group has developed a solid reputation in the industry and there is huge scope to increase the size of our current fleet of over 5,000 vehicles. We don’t necessarily want to be the biggest, but we want to be the best. »

At a difficult time for the industry due to rising fuel costs and a shortage of truck drivers and vehicle parts, Agnew says the Asset Alliance Group offers excellent products, good value for money and unparalleled customer service.

He adds:

“It’s this combination that will help us exploit new business opportunities and keep people coming back.”

Agnew is based at the Asset Alliance Group base in Wolverhampton and will report to Sales Director Paul Wright.
